These guys could not be more helpful and courteous. My fob on my car was not working and they came to my house. They arrived on time and texted me when they were on their way which I really appreciated. They made a new fob within the time they said it would take which worked perfectly. A few days later they helped me to try and sort out another problem I had with the car via text messaging me. They were absolutely brilliant and so very kind and helpful. They really went out of their way to help me. I recommend this company to anyone and their details are now on my phone should I get any further issues. Absolute amazing service last night. Partner had her car keys stolen, called these guys up and within 45mins, they’d arrived at around 22:00 to create me new keys to protect the car.He gained access to her car, coded 2 new keys and used his tools to delete the old keys from the car so the thief couldn’t take it.All this was done whilst he explained everything he’s doing and answered all my stupid questions.I’ve saved his number and anything lock related now I will definitely use these guys again!

Fantastic, friendly service, I had locked myself out of the car at the local railway station. Immediate response from the guys who were also equipped to retrieve the spare car key that had accidentally been dropped down a drain. I would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent service, My key snapped in the ignition leaving me stranded. I called multiple 24hr locksmiths noone could be bother to come out, it was to late...!? I came across key4cars. Not only did he come out within the hour (when on boby else would!) The job was done in ten minutes and I was on my way. I will definitely be using again if in need and I would highly recommend.

First time having to deal with a car locksmith and could not have asked for a better person than Shane. My car ignition was not starting and steering wheel locked up every time I moved the steering wheel.Shane was great, truly an experienced car engineer. I had RAC called over and they were not able to do anything for me. But Shane had all the tools and the spare part I needed for my car. Did not take him long at all to work out what was wrong and managed to fix the problem within half an hour.Every other car locksmith I tried was telling they are not free until a few days later.If you ever need a car locksmith Shane is the perfect person for the job. I am very pleased with a service. Contacted the company on a Saturday and had the key done on Sunday. The key had a manufacture defect as it was the last one:) I had to lock the car manually, but was able to go to work on Monday. The following week once a new key arrived the pleasant young man came and replace it within 5 minutes. Quick response, fantastic service and excellent price for 7 days available service. Fascinating West Norwood facts

Before Norwood became densely populated, the hilly and wooded area to the north of Croydon was known as the Great North Wood. Prior to 1885, the area around West Norwood station was referred to as Lower Norwood as it was quite literally at a lower altitude to Upper Norwood.

In a 1745 map of the area, we can find the Horns Tavern at Knight’s Hill (opposite West Norwood station). There was also an undeveloped valley stretching to ‘Island Green’ in the north where Herne Hill railway station is now located. After this time, substantial development took place and this can be seen on a map only 50 years later, where only a few coppices were left of the original woodland.
